Thiruvananthapuram: The busy market places in the state’s capital shut down over the apprehension of social transmission of the COVID19. The two market places, Palayam market, and Saphalyam Complex was shut down completely after four persons tested positive with an untraced source. A staff at Saphalyam complex, an Assam native, tested positive to the pandemic and following that the market place shut down. ‘The condition in the state capital is grave’, Minister Kadakampally Surendran said.
The alert over COVID 19 is strengthened in the capital city. People are strictly warned to wear mosques and those who do not wear masques will be punished with a fine. Mayor Sreekumar said.
