Riyadh: The Center informed Kerala that the Truenat Beta test for COVID 19 recommended by the state government cannot be implemented in the Gulf countries. The Foreign Ministry informed the chief secretary that in the Gulf Truenat test for COVID 19 is not permitted by the government so that it is impractical to hold such tests in the countries.
The state ‘s decision which insisted mandatory COVID negative certificate for the expatriates in the Gulf to return back sparked controversy. Besides Chief Minister informed that Truenat test kit will be availed in the gulf countries which are not facilitated to conduct COVID test.
In Saudi, it is difficult to procure permission for conducting Truenat test , the central government informed by quoting health experts in the country. Besides it demands the nod from flight companies and Indian embassies to launch the decision.
