The bodies of the soldiers who killed in the Pulwama terror attack was brought to Delhi airport on Friday evening, massive crowd gathered to pay tributes to the soldiers who fought for the nation. The bodies have started reaching their natives.
The family members will receive the bodies of the deceased soldiers today. Thousands of people, tears in their eyes gave emotional farewell to the bravehearts.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Nirmala Seetharaman, three service chiefs, Congres Chief Rahul Gandhi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and other politicians paid last respects to the martyrs at Delhi airport.
The funeral rites of the soldiers will be with full state honours.
Many states announced ex-gratia to the families of deceased CRPF jawans. Rajasthan government on FRriday announced Rs.25 lakhs and jobs to a family members of CRPF jawan from the state.
Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand governments announced the compensation of Rs. 25 lakhs to the families of deceased soldiers.
Madhya Pradesh government announced the compensation of Rs.1 crores. Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand governments announced compensations of Rs. 20 lakhs and Rs.10 lakhs respectively to families of the CRPF jawans killed in the terror attack.
