
Today the world is remembering the legendary actress Sridevi on her 1st death anniversary. The world still mourns at the death of great actress. Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor left an emotional note on her instagram page, “My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it.”

She shared a incomplete picture of herself holding her mother’s hand. Many people from in and out of the film industry took to Twitter to express their grief.
Death approached her unexpectedly, the whole world was in full of disbelief when they heard the news of her sudden death in a bathtub at a Dubai’s hotel on February 24th night . She was 54 years old at that time.
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi wrote, “A year already..#Sridevi. You will live on through your work”.
Another senior Anupam Kher said, “It is something lots and lots of fans of her, including me, will live in denial of because it was so sudden, so shocking and so abrupt. Yet, the realiy is one year now”.
Sridevi’s brother-in-law and co-star in various films Anil Kapoor wrote, “Her presence is irreplaceable, With time, we get over people and their presence… and then there are some personalities whose presence, enigma,beauty, and body of work, everything is memorable. She is that personality”.
Director Farah Khan shared an unseen photo with her and captioned, “When i was just starting out in my career She was so supportive, so encouraging.. getting to Choreograph a Sridevi show or a song for her was like a dream.. no wonder I never got awed or starstruck with any other star in my entire career because I started frm the TOP! There never was n never will be anyone like SRIDEVI.. love her always ( this photo is frm 1994- world tour).”
Sridevi was one of the top most actresses during eighties and nighties. She was born at Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu, to Ayyappan and Rajeshwari in 1963. Sridevi began her acting career when she was only 4 years old, in the Tamil devotional movie “ Kandan Karunai” in 1967. She has acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada languages. In a career spanning 50 years she acted in over 300 films .
He noted works were Moondram Pirai with Kamal Haasan, ChaalBaaz, Himmatwala, Mr.India , Chaandni, English Vinglish and many more. She was awarded the Best Actress posthumously for her role in the movie MOM. This was her last movie.
