Attention foodies out there! Holiday Inn Cochin is inviting those in search of royal culinary to embrace different tastes from Rajasthan.
Holiday Inn Cochin is one of the famous branded hotels around the globe. The hotel introduces an exclusive Rajasthani Food Festival at Masala, their all day dining restaurant. The food fest will feature a variety of Rajasthani delicacies.
The Rajasthani food festival will start from Sep15 and will end on Sep 23. The buffet will start at 7:30pm and guests can feast on appetizers like Lasooni Chutney, Dahi Boondi, Subz Tokri and many more. Dishes in main course list include Barwan Bhindi, Aloo Katliya, Papad Mangodi, Bhindi Jaipuri, Sev Tamatar and much more.
Chef Surendra Singh, who is based out of Jaipur, is behind the specially crafted menu. His menu features traditional rice preparations like Gatta Pulao and Maans Ka Pulao. He is always ready to go in search of the origin of food and cuisine and bring his expertise to the table.
In order to enhance the authenticity of dishes, mutton and mathania chillies have been procured from Rajasthan. While talking about festival, Chef Surendra said, “While Rajasthani food is usually fiery, we have toned it down a little to suit the palates of our international guests who are curious about India’s regional cuisines. Also, rather than just providing a few dishes from the state, we have provided a comprehensive overview of some signature dishes from each region, so that local diners as well as global travelers can appreciate cuisine in terms of their concepts, preparations, procedures involved.”
