Lisbon: Bayern Munich won the UEFA Champions League title for the sixth time . The Bundesliga beat French champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 1-0 on Monday morning. Kingsley Coman scored Bayern’s winning goal in the 59th minute. Common’s goal was a header from Joshua Kimmich’s pass .This is Bayern Munich’s sixth title since playing in their 11th Champions League final. After winning the Champions League in 2013, Bayern lost four consecutive semi – finals.
Both teams came into the game with changes from the team that played in the semi-finals. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who was ruled out of the semi-finals due to injury when Ivan Perisic was dropped in the starting XI, was replaced by Rico. Coach Hans-Dieter Flick aligned Bayern on the field in a 4-2-3-1 formation as usual. PSG coach Thomas Tuchel led the team in a 4-3-3 formation.

PSG, playing in the Champions League final for the first time in recent history, had to return with tears in their eyes. The final was the defeat of all six teams that made their debut in the Champions League final. Tottenham beat Liverpool in 2019, Chelsea against Manchester United in 2008, Arsenal against Barcelona in 2006, Monaco against FC Porto in 2004 and Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2002.
