New Delhi: Prime Minister Modi visited Kedarnath Shrine and offered prayers and the PM will visit Badrinath also in his today visit to Uttarakhand. The PM reportedly spent over half an hour at the temple premise and he would be overlooking the ongoing development work of the temple later on the day.
Modi visited Kedarnath Shiva shrine several times during his regime and his last visit was in November during Diwali. Modi paid visit to the Kedarnath temple two times in 2017, when the temple opened after six- month- winter season in May and in October when it closed for winter.
Among the 59 constituencies PM Modi’s constituency Varanasi also go to poll in last and seventh phase of poll to be held on Sunday. His visit to the Himalayan shrine temple before the day of poll is to be marked for political significance.
