New Delhi: Coming heavily down on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress President Rahul Gandhi alleged PM to have insulted army by comparing surgical strikes done during UPA regime to video games.
At a press conference held in Delhi on Saturday, the Congress President accused PM Modi to have treated army as his personal asset and he (Rahul) jibed at Modi that ” Army , Air force and Navy is not personal properties of Modiji like he thinks”.
Rahul accused Modi led BJP government to have politicized surgical strikes to seek votes. Mr Gandhi said his party had had no intention to politicize surgical strikes unlike Modi. Rahul ensured that the ‘Modi government will not come back to power’. Responding to a question on seeking apology over contempt of court case, he (Rahul) said he sought apology to the Supreme Court and not to BJP or Narendra Modi. He said he will continue his stand on ‘Chawkidar Chor’ remark on PM Modi.
