New Delhi: Former President and Finance Minister in UPA regime Pranab Mukherji said he is not worry over ‘the economic slowdown allegedly sustains in the country.’ Certain things happening would have its impact’ he added.
Mukherji said he finds no fault in public sector banks needing capital infusion. The public sector banks need huge capital infusion and there is nothing wrong in it.
He pointed out Indian Banks were flexible during the financial crisis in 2008. He said during the period ‘not a single public sector bank’ approached him for money as the then Finance Minister.
