Kozhikode: Muslim League has taken the stand not to respond over the remark on ‘Ayodhya’ made by the former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath. Kamal Nath said on the last day, Ram temple is coming up with the consent of everyone, a remark that sparked widescale controversy.
Senior Muslim League leader P K Kunhalikutty said there is no need to respond over the statement made by a leader in another state. Kunhalikutty said he did not have seen the article protesting over Kamal Nath’s remark in the Samastha mouthpiece, ‘Suprabhatham’.
He was talking at the ‘speak Kerala’ protest demanding the resignation of chief minister in the gold smuggling case. Senior Congress leader and former chief minister Oommen Chandy also take part in the protest from Thodupuzha. Oommen Chandy said the opposition leader does not need the certificate either CPI(M) or RSS. He urged the Chief Minister to quit from the office.
