Bengaluru/ New Delhi: Supreme Court will consider the plea challenging the court’s direction over the resignation of ten MLAs by R K Ramesh kumar, Speaker of Karnataka assembly tomorrow. The Supreme Court directed Karnataka assembly speaker to decide on the resignation of the MLAs today. The plea submitted by the speaker against the verdict will be considered tomorrow by the court. The court asked to provide security to the rebel MLAs from airport to assembly. The dissident MLAs said they will submit resignation to the speaker as per directed by the Supreme Court.
With two more MLAs were gone over to BJP, coalition regime in Karnataka hang in single strand with a reduced majority. Chief Minister Kumaraswami called on meeting senor Congress leaders including Gulam Nabi Azad, K C Venugopal, D K Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah at guest house in Bengaluru. After the cabinet committee meeting, Kumaraswami said has withdrawn from his earlier decision to quit as chief minister and sought to dissolve assembly.
