Ahmadabad /New Delhi: In the back drop Cyclone ‘Vayu’ which is reported to hit Gujarat on Thursday, Union Home Ministry has directed the state to take all precautionary steps to save life.
Measures are also asked to be taken over reducing vital infrastructures and recovery of all essential services to the earliest after the cyclone land fall at Gujarat. Around three lakh (3 lakh) people were evacuated from Gujarat and Union Territory Due to the 700 rehabilitation centers in the area.
Union Home Minister AmitShah keeps reviewing the situation and a review meeting of Central Ministers, Agencies, and Chief Secretaries is to be held on Wednesday by Union Chief Secretary Rajeev Gauba. Shah reinforced to ensure the safety of people when cyclone make land fall after reviewing the situation.
