Mumbai: Ex Jet airways employee who has deposit of RS 90 lakh in the Panjab and Maharashtra banks which are incurring crisis, died due to heart attack.
Sanjay Gulati, the 51-year-old, a resident of Oshiwara Suburban held a protest march over the fear of his deposit being immovable. Gulati’s father and co-protesters alleged Gulati to have died at the protest site over the stress caused by bank crisis. Senior police official at Oshwara police station said Gulati died of heart attack. The central bank informed 77% of the customers will be able to fully withdraw their deposits with this move.
Four people including promoters of reality firm HDIL, The lenders former chairman and ex-managing director have been arrested over the 4,355 crore scam.
