The Central Bureau of Investigation has already issued a look-out circular against Kochhars and Venugopal Dhoot. The investigation agency has directed the immigration authorities at all the airports and entry-exit points across the country to inform if Kochhars tries to leave the country
The investigating officials are examining the documents that they got during the searches at the homes and offices of Kochhars and Venugopal Dhoot.
Chanda Kochhar resigned from the post of CEO and Manging Director of ICICI Bank in 2018 October. It is alleged that months after the Videocon has granted the loan, the company’s head Venugopal Dhoot invested crores of rupees in NuPower Renewables, a company founded by Deepak Kochhar.
