With 90,123 new covid-19 cases reporting on Wednesday, India, became the second country in the world to cross the five million mark after the US. With the single-day spike of 90,123 new covid-19 positive cases, India has reported total 50,20,360 cases. The count of covid-19 cases stands at 50,20,360 of which, there are a total of 9,95,933 active cases while 39,42,361 patients have been either cured or discharged or migrated, the Union Health Ministry said.

His tweet further alleged that “There was one truth too: ‘Aapda me Avsar’ (Opportunity in Disaster) PM CARES.” The Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund was created in March 2020, following the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The fund is aimed at strengthening the fight against COVID-19, provide quality treatment and encourage research to combat coronavirus.
The Congress has been against the setting up of the PM CARES Fund and had earlier also slammed the Centre for not revealing the names of donors to the fund.
