Newyork: The US Food and Drug Administration has called off the emergency use of anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine. FDA pointed that new researches over the medicines put forwarded that the drug is not effective for anti-viral treatment. Besides hydroxychloroquine is not find proper result to prevent the infection among those who exposed to it. In March, FDA had given permission for the emergency use of the drug in critical situations.
Even as President Trump said as per BBC,’’ I took it and I felt good about taking it.’’ He reportedly said many people told him the drug saved their lives.
Hydroxycholoquine has been widely exported from India to the US , Briton, Australia and other countries where COVID out break in alarming number. The US requested the drug from India the US president expressed gratitude for granting the anti-malaria drug.
