Hyderabad : On Saturday, a clash broke out between Congress leaders V Hanumantha Rao and Nagesh Mudhiraj during an opposition protest held in Hyderabad against the alleged negligence of Telangana government over the intermediate results of the state board.
The people around them were tried to separate the two leaders after they were seen frantically pushing each other on the stage. The two leaders were calmed down after the police interfered over the brawl. The video of the two leaders fighting each other publically went viral on social media. The protest was held on Saturday by the opposition after the alleged goof up in the intermediate exam result on May 6 sparked flak against Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao.
The opposition accused the state government to be impassive over the grievances suffered by the families of the students committed suicide over the alleged goof up in the exam. The opposition alleged government to have reluctant in taking action against the officers allegedly involved in the goof up. Around 3 lakhs students failed in the examination by Telangana State Board triggering large scale allegations of discrepancy over the incident.
