New Delhi: Sushama Swaraj, BJP stalwart and former External Minister who was known for humanist and compassionate approach in Indian diplomacy passed away. She was 67. On Tuesday night she was reportedly brought to AIIMS after a massive heart attack at 9.30 PM. Despite struggling hard doctors could not save her life. She was kept away from contesting election 2019 and opt to sit out of the government owing to her ill health.
A poplulist leader she made use of social medias to communicate with people and tweet seeking help was enough for Sushama to take required measures over a matter. When she required kidney transplantation during her tenure as External Minister, many even ready to offer her kidney out of love to the compassionate minister.
The youngest cabinet minister in Haryana at the age of 25 in 1977 Sushama Swaraj started her political career too early. She was the Delhi Chief Minister and the opposition leader during UPA regime-2. An extraordinary orator, her speeches in parliament are historically remarkable. The speech she made in 1996 over abrogating Article 370 made an indelible Mark in history.
