Type-2 diabetics can be developed by the kind of food one select and the order of food one intakes. The research studies presented at Nutrition 2019, Baltimore shows.
The probability to have developed Type -2 diabetics is lesser in persons using more amount of vegetables , fruits, vegetable oils and grains in their food. A 60% lesser chance is left to develop Type-2 diabetics in persons using more vegetables in their food. Type-2 diabetics can be prevented by shifting to plant based diet for a long period.
The study conducted in 20217 young adults in the US with long time research indicates that , people who have increased good amount of vegetables , fruits, grains and vegetable oils in their food over 20 years shows 60% lesser chance to develop Type-2 diabetics. Those who hold a lower amount of plant food in their diet show more chance to develop Type-2 diabetes, as per study.
People who intakes higher percentage of vitamins B 2 and B 6 has lesser chance to develop Type-2 diabetics. The study held in 200, 000 people shows that people who intake Vitamin B 12 in excess shows high chance to develop Type-2 diabetics as vitamin B 12 get from excess eating of animal food.
Another study shows that post-meal blood sugar level hike can be reduced by changing the order of food. Eating rice at first, then vegetables, and meat would be increased sugar. Another order may help reduce blood sugar. The study points out, blood sugar level is being influenced by the kind of food selected and the order of eating food.
