NewDelhi: After the ban of 59 Chinese apps including the most popular app TikTok by India, the content creators in these apps urged their followers to pursue them on platforms like Instagram and YouTube.
Few hours after the government made the announcement, a major chunk of TikTok users switched over to Instagram and YouTube in a spree of updating their bio-data. Besides, several content creators featured hashtags TikTok ban on their videos.
Some keep staying on these apps to promote their videos while others set to create new pages for their content. The app was removed by the Google play store and Apple play store after the government declared a ban over the apps.
