New Delhi: Apple Inc’s flagship India iPhones assembled in India by FoxConnes local unit is all set to launch Indian market in August. The move will help reduce price of the iphones of tech giant in India, the second largest Smartphone market over the world.
Both Apple and Falcon made no comment over the launch of the locally assembled iPhone. Local assembling would help Apple in tax reduction in fully assembled iPhones. Besides it would ease the local sourcing norms and to open its new retail stores in India.
Fox Connes, the local unit of HonHai precision Industry, reported to have launched its assembling units for iPhones and family devices in South Indian states like Tamil Nadu.
