Google-parent Alphabet and the online retailer Amazon is reported to have a great rise in revenue and 20 % rise of revenues over the latest quarter. Google- parent Alphabet said its searches and YouTube was gaining more advertisement. Amazon on the other hand said its delivery speed was giving the rise of profits more than they expected. $63.4 bn (£51bn) was the latest revenue of the Amazon.
“Customers are responding to Prime’s move to one-day delivery we’ve received a lot of positive feedback and seen accelerating sales growth,” Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and chief executive said in press release. Alphabet’s revenue was raised 19 % that was $9.9 bn to $38.9 bn. Sundar Pichai, Google’s Chief executive said, “From improvements in core information products such as Search, Maps and the Google Assistant, to new breakthroughs in AI and our growing cloud and hardware offerings, I’m incredibly excited by the momentum across Google’s businesses.”
