New Delhi: The son of Aam Aadmi Party candidate in West Delhi alleged his father to have given Rs 6 Cr to buy ticket in the constituency. Uday Jakhar, the son of AAP candidate Balbir Singh Jakhar in West Delhi alleges on a video posted on social media that his father has given Rs 6Cr to buy ticket in the constituency.
Even as Balbir Singh Jakhar, the candidate dismissed the allegation as false as he hardly got chance to speak to his son. He would not have any attachment to his son to disclose the matter over candidature. He said his son was born and brought up at his maternal house since his birth. And he was divorced his wife in 2009 and his custody was granted to his mother since.
The son, Uday Jakhar accused father, Balbir Singh to have bought ticket for Rs 6Cr and his father (Balbir Singh) has no relation with AAP or Anna Hazare Movement to his knowledge. Uday said that he was surprised to understand that an amateur politician like his father got ticket to contest in Loksabha election.
Uday Jakhar accused his father, Balbir Singh to be unwilling to give money for his education and he has enough money to spend for his own political benefits. Uday alleged that his father to have spent money to the bail of Yashpal and Sajjan Kumar who were involved in Sikh riot and he was ready to fight case for them.
Concluding his video Uday said that leaders like Kejriwal who came up with a clean image in politics corrupted by joining with persons like his father Balbir Singh.
