Thiruvananthapuram: With three more COVID 19 deaths reported from the state today, the death toll reached a total of 86 in two days so far in Kerala, as per official records. The unofficial death toll reached 88 in the state. On Saturday. the state reported 8 COVID deaths.
Today, the state reported four COVID cases till 11 am. Ernakulum reported one COVID death of a 70-year-old man. Since he is a lottery agent and contacted many people, preparing his contact list is a tough task for the authorities.
Another death reported from Kasaragod district today. With this, the death toll in the district reached 10.
Kannur reported one more COVID death. 41-year-old Sajith hailed from the district died due to COVID today. He was undergoing treatment for fever for the past two weeks at Pariyaram Medical College Hospital. He reportedly tested positive for the COVID when he was about to be discharged. Sajith contracted the pandemic through contact.
In Malappuram, an 11-year-old girl succumbed to COVID. The girl was admitted with a severe fever at later shifted to Kozhikode Medical College. The girl confirmed COVID during treatment.
